We only use mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) specifically sourced from cord blood and umbilical cord tissue, which have been safely used in regenerative therapies for decades. Every stem cell source undergoes strict donor screening, medical & genetic review, pregnancy screening, and post-birth testing for any viruses, bacteria, or infectious agents.
What types of stem cells does Odin use?
We only use mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) sourced from donated umbilical cord tissue – never from embryos. The MSCs come exclusively from healthy, full-term births where parents have voluntarily donated umbilical cord tissue. All donations are completely voluntary, fully screened and tested, and handled in accordance with strict regulatory and ethical guidelines.
How long does it take to see results from stem cell therapy?
Patients with Odin Stem Cells typically notice improvements within the first three to four months following stem cell therapy, though many report positive changes as early as 48 hours after treatment. Why does Odin use umbilical cord stem cells instead of bone marrow?
Umbilical cord-derived MSCs offer several key advantages: they are naturally young and healthy (collected at birth before exposure to aging or toxins), have high regenerative potential, require non-invasive collection, are screened and ready for faster treatment timelines, and have broad clinical application including immune system support and inflammation management. Bone marrow collection requires an invasive procedure and cells may be affected by aging or chronic illness.
